The threats can stop-I am finally updating the blog!
We had a really fun Halloween! Jake has inherited our gene of being cheap so he wanted and insisted to be a Dragon again this year. The costume was a little short and really hot but we're always happy because it kept us from buying a new one!

One of the two pictures Dragon would let me take. He was not crazy about this at all. He did, however, wear his costume through
Wal-Mart only so people would talk to him. If somebody walked by and did not notice the four foot Dragon, he would yell, "Hey, don't you see me?!?" I wasn't embarrassed but, as shy as I am, it was a quick trip through the store!

Predictably, it was 80+ degrees so Dragon didn't make it very long. He came back with a good stash of candy (Mama and Daddy did have to check/taste a few pieces) and he passed out candy to the neighborhood kids.

At the end of the night, Jake ran across the street and fell in the pavement busting both of his knees and adding a new knot to his head. A few
band aids later, and he's on the mend.

On Sunday, Daddy took us bowling (we really should start our own league). Jake scored two strikes almost immediately...beating his mother! I came back to show him who's boss but then Jeremy scored a Turkey. He's always trying to impress us!
We are now in the official countdown until the cutest
niece in the whole world comes for a visit: 22 days away!
