Busy.

It's been such a busy, short summer. We're just trying to survive right now!

Baby Sister turns 2 on Saturday and we have a big day planned at the beach-swimming, playing in the sand (she hates the sand), eating out. Oh, and a Madagascar cake for the Big Girl!!

From Monkey: 

 He wanted to write a report on staying healthy.

And a rare moment with Little Sister-she is never, never still long enough to fall asleep on anyone. This was after a major day of playing and swimming. 

Best 30 minute power nap she's had in months!

2nd.

Monkey officially finished the 1st grade on Tuesday! This Mama was very happy and very sad at the same time. He had a wonderful teacher who inspired him to love reading and science more than ever. Mrs. H. has been an educational blessing to our smart boy!

Monkey is now on summer vacation, enjoying some much needed country time in Mississippi with his Lovey and Papa. We are so proud of him and look forward to all of the new things he will learn in 2nd grade!

We're crazy busy here, but happy nonetheless!

Monkey's last run as a t-baller. This Mama was a little sad but a very proud of her baby for scoring a run!

Just a sweet picture of my growing boy. Keep in mind he's up to my shoulders now. Either I'm shrinking or he's growing really, really fast!

We always tell Sweet Pea that she'll be a good Mama some day. You can't really tell, but she is covering one of her babies and singing to her. Our living room looks like a morgue with all of the baby dolls covered up with blankets! She loves to talk and sing to them, then re-arrange them on the floor, and start over again. She is a good Mama.

And Little Sister couldn't resist covering her Monkey up, too! Sometimes, when they're playing together on the floor, she'll pretend he's her baby and try to feed and cover him. He doesn't admit it, but he loves her and will let her do almost anything she wants to him!

We love our babies!
