After the painful loss and trip to North Mississippi last week, we decided to take the kiddos to New Orleans for a day of fun. Monkey and Sister loved the aquarium as well as the horses in the Quarter, crazy people talking to themselves, and maps everywhere.
Monkey loves a good map.
Before our first trip to Cafe du Monde, we told Monkey how beignets are the best. He'll never eat anything as good as them ever again (at least in the beignet category).
He was very, very skeptical.
Baby Girl will try anything at least once. I think she was checking out other people's food and made her decision early on that she would always love sugar.
Worth the wait!
After 2 visits and 6 orders, our animals love Cafe du Monde as much as we do. Success! I think both could eat flour and sugar as a square meal every day.
We miss our Grandy but are thankful that he's no longer suffering.
