Hark! The Herald Angels Sing!

We've had a wonderful Christmas this year! Jeremy and I are so blessed to share this holiday season with our sweet babies and good friends and family.

A few pictures of thanks and such:
Not really Christmas-y, but Sweet Pea was happy to go to Wal-Mart yesterday. She loves the sweet senior citizens that always gush over her cuteness.
Happy Birthday Jesus!
Our new favorite Christmas tradition is making a birthday cake for Jesus (he prefers red velvet) and celebrating on Christmas Eve.
Santa must prefer red velvet too-I'm sure he can only have so many cookies in one night before he's ready to move on to the next dessert. He also leaves notes for the kiddos. Monkey was surprised to learn that Santa watched him at school. Let's hope this makes our 2nd semester of kindergarten a little easier!
Santa's loot.
We also adopted a little girl from our local Angel Tree. As a family, we really enjoyed buying for our angel and making her Christmas special.
Mamaw Romie and Grandy-Thank You for our first Bibles!! I still have my very first pink Bible that y'all gave me in Christmas of 1986! We'll always cherish these.
M was happy to see her Bubby opening gifts!
Aunt Amanda, Lala, and Uncle Will-Thank You for the awesome art set! We've already worked on our family portrait!
Aunt Mimi, Uncle Kevin and cousins-Thank You for the adorable outfits! Blue will definitely make her gorgeous blue eyes pop!
Also, Thank You for the grooming kit-now Monkey can groom with his Daddy! He did ask if this would turn his hair grey and we assured him that his hair would not fall out or fade for many years to come :)
Aunt Amanda, Lala, and Uncle Will-Thank You for the new toys. Not only are they fun to play with, but they taste yummy and delicious too!

We are now anxiously awaiting for our Lovey to get here for a fun-packed week. Next weekend, J and I will share another amazing year of marriage as well as watch our favorite Bulldawgs play in the Gator Bowl.

Merry Christmas!

Go Eagles!

As I blog, my handsome boys are in St. Petersburg watching their favorite Golden Eagles play football. It's so stinking adorable that Monkey wants to, not only look like his father (minus the grey hair), but dress like him too!
Go Eagles!
Merry Christmas!

Christmas Vacation, Monkey Style

For our first day of Christmas vacation, we made gingerbread cookies. More were eaten than decorated but who cares?! The point is to eventually eat them anyway!
Showing off his culinary skills
Sweet Pea didn't seem that impressed with our family holiday tradition.
That icing can was full before Monkey got his hands on it. He ate more than he decorated with. Hyper does not begin to describe the next 4 hours.
Visual proof that Baby does like her father....sometimes.
"Mama, take my picture with the crazy eyes!"

Cuties

Monkey so proud of his bat!
And one happy Sweet Pea before church!

A Rare Moment

Jeremy finally broke our stubborn baby! For the last 22 weeks, she has refused to nap on her daddy. I was the only one she would sleep with. Naps are definitely tricky with this one. After 20 minutes of squealing and screaming, she gave in. I don't know if Jeremy or Morgan was happier.
It was the best 2 hour nap for all of us!

Twinkies!

If, for one second, you ever wonder who Sweet Pea looks like: check out Papa Bear! They have the exact same profile and smile. I guess this means my dad would've been a really cute baby girl (sorry Daddy...we do love you!).
She seems to like her twin too. She actually let someone besides her favorite mother hold her during Thanksgiving. Big Step.
Happy 20 weeks Baby Love!
In Monkey news, did you know my kid is so dang creative?!? He's definitely more artistic than I ever was. If you've ever been to our house, you've seen our doors. I should really take pictures of them one day. Anyway, Monkey decorated them with original art work for each family member. Last week, he made brightly colored skulls and cross bones (I'm not a bad parent but don't ask me where he saw these!).
Today, he decided to make Sweet Pea a cupcake for her door because 'she's the sweetest baby in the whole world.' Man, I love these kids.
