Easter 2011.

We had a wonderful low-key Easter weekend at home. Naturally, I didn't get one picture of the kiddos dressed up for church. Just so you know...they were so stinking adorable!
Lovey-thank you for the singing bunny! We have listened to his song no less than 100 times this weekend. I think Monkey loves him more than Sister does!
Sunday morning wrestling match. I think Monkey is taking a milk break at this point.
For the Easter Bunny:
What is that (egg)? When you come,
I am so excited!
I love you!
Love, Jake
Checking out the loot. Monkey hit the Bakugan jackpot.
Happy Easter! Monkey is convinced that the key to getting a good basket is by leaving the Bunny a note and snack (just like Santa).
Loving her baby doll and books.
Monkey found $3 in his eggs...so much better than candy!

Happy Easter!!

Busch Gardens.

For Monkey's 6th Birthday, we took him to Busch Gardens this year. It was the best amusement park we've ever been to! We'll definitely be using our tickets a few more times this year.
Sweet Pea and I checking out the gators.
3 Wild Monkeys!
What Baby thought about the rides....

Pool Party.

Baby Girl experienced the pool for the first time this weekend. We'll be there every day this summer so, luckily, she loved the water!! She has always been a water baby...just like her Big Bro! Naturally, I didn't get any pictures at the pool but managed to snap one post-aquatic.
Monkey is a crazy fish in the water and we think this Baby Girl will be too.

Birthday Boy.

Monkey is so cool, he was able to celebrate his 6th birthday 3 times last week! First, we had Transformer cupcakes with his school friends, then we had more Transformer cupcakes at his t-ball game Friday night (Red Sox won!), and finally cake at Mrs. Jennifer's house Saturday night. He had such a fun weekend and felt so special getting mail just for him (thanks aunts, uncles, and grandparents!).
The Birthday Boy the day before his actual birthday-his special day fell on a school holiday so he was lucky enough to the get day off!
Transformer cupcakes for school. His poor teacher had the honor of keeping 15 extremely hyper and icing-covered kids after we left. Jake continued his early celebration with a thorough cleaning at the dentist.
On his actual birthday we let him decide where we ate breakfast and lunch. Want to guess? For those that know him well: McDonalds. Twice.
Ready for his t-ball game with Coach. Red Sox won!
Celebrating one more time at Mrs. Jennifer and Mr. Sean's house. We are so thankful to have adopted family like them!
Monkey is convinced he's a dog now-he barked and growled for Sister and I all the way to school this morning.

Happy 6th Birthday my Man!!

Guess What?

Somebody has a 6th Birthday this week!!!
Monkey had his first t-ball game of the season. Go Red Sox! Our #9 played pretty well and is ready for this Friday's game. It's a great year to be a Red Sox!!
